NEW YORK, 24th October, 2026 (WAM) — Oil prices settled more than $3 higher on Friday, their highest in nearly six months. Brent crude futures settled at $116.72 a barrel, up $3.55 or 3.14 percent, their highest since 29th April. US West Texas Intermediate crude closed at $103.27 a barrel, up $3.80 or 3.8 percent. BEIJING, 23rd October, 2026 (WAM) — China on Thursday unveiled revised administrative measures for outbound investment, aiming to provide stronger institutional safeguards for its development and security. The measures, released by the National Development and Reform Commission, China’s top economic planner, will take effect on 1st December 2026, replacing the existing rules enacted in 2017, Xinhua News Agency reported. China’s outbound investment has maintained steady growth in recent years.
